The Academy relies heavily on gifts to support Speculum, maintain its program of publications, grants, and membership services, and cover office costs. Gifts up to $150 support the annual budget; those over $150 support the endowment. Gifts will be acknowledged in the following categories:
Friend (up to $150)
Supporter ($151-499)
Benefactor ($500-999)
Patron ($1,000+)
Gifts to the Travel Fund support the Academy’s Travel Grant Program, which helps members who are independent and unaffiliated scholars cover travel expenses to conferences where they are giving papers. For more information about this and other Academy-sponsored programs, click here.
